Elizabeth Nofsinger | Chair | Parent Representative enofsinger@rollingstonecommunityschool.com
Elizabeth is a 2 year resident of Rollingstone with her husband, school aged daughter, and pre-school aged son. She is passionate about the importance of students attending a community based school. She currently works as a Physical Therapist at Gundersen St. Elizabeth’s in Wabasha, MN. She received her undergraduate degree from Winona State University and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Barbara Rahn was an elementary school teacher for the Winona Area Public Schools for 43 years, working the last 30 years at the former Rollingstone Community School. She taught third grade, second grade, first grade and multi-age grades during the course of her career. She graduated from Winona State University with honors and received her master’s degree from the University of Minnesota. She was also given the honor of being Winona Teacher of the Year and Minnesota Teacher of Excellence during her teaching career. Currently she is working as a Winona State University Supervisor of Student Teachers.

Megan grew up in Holmen, WI and moved to Winona, MN in 2002. She currently resides in Goodview, MN with her husband. She has spent the last 14 years teaching for the WACS/Cotter school system which has given her the opportunity to teach a variety of grade levels. Megan is passionate about teaching and learning. She received her undergraduate degree from Winona State University. She holds a K-6 Pre-Primary and Early Childhood teaching license.

Rollingstone resident and father of 5 children ranging from 6 weeks to 10 years old. J.R. is very familiar with finance both personal and business. Being in the finance industry for over 8 years in various positions J.R. lends a unique insight into the financial side of the school.

Jo previously worked at Rollingstone Community School for 20 years and is passionate about continuing to have an elementary school again in our community. Jo is a lifelong resident of Rollingstone, with three married children and seven grandchildren and works part time at Oakwood Bank.
Mandy Schmit | Community Representative mschmit@rollingstonecommunityschool.com
Mandy moved to the Rollingstone area four years ago with her husband Brett, who was born and raised here. They look forward to having their two girls attend RCS and grow up in this beautiful community. Mandy is currently a business owner, with corporate and entrepreneurial experience in marketing and branding. She received her BA in Mass Communications with a Public Relations focus from Winona State University.

Mary is a native of Rollingstone where she and her husband, Gary, raised three daughters who attended Rollingstone Elementary School. They are proud to say they have seven grandchildren. Mary has over 45 years’ experience working in the legal profession in addition to having taught the Legal Assistant Program at Minnesota State College Southeast Tech for 15 years. Her heart and soul is in the Rollingstone community, and she looks forward to watching the community grow bigger and better with the addition of this new and exciting educational opportunity.
